AI engineer in agentic workflows

We are currently partnering with multiple clients, ranging from innovative technology consultancies to established enterprises across the United Kingdom, who are looking to scale their artificial intelligence capabilities. These organisations are at the cutting edge of digital transformation and are seeking talented Senior AI Engineers to help design, build, and deploy production-grade systems that solve complex, real-world business challenges.

• In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-powered applications, guiding projects from initial prototyping and experimentation through to scalable deployment and ongoing monitoring.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications, focusing on the development of agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and intelligent automation tools that drive tangible impact.
• Throughout the process, you will maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and system observability to ensure our clients' AI capabilities remain reliable and cost-effective as they scale.

• Strong proficiency in Python for production-grade software development.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, embedding models, and vector databases.
• Expertise in MLOps practices, including CI/CD, model monitoring, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of API development and backend service integration.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, reliable AI solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
