ABN AMRO is one of the Netherlands' largest banks, serving millions of customers and employing thousands of individuals. Its AI team builds and deploys GenAI applications for banking use cases, including voice agents, AI lending assistants, and agentic workflows.

• Design and implement GenAI solutions across banking use cases, including Voice AI, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and document intelligence;
• Co-create use cases with business counterparts by understanding business problems and technical solutions;
• Own the full development cycle: experiment, build, deploy, monitor, improve, and scale;
• Work with Agents, plain LLMs, code, Databricks, and other suitable tools;
• Raise the team’s technical quality through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and coaching juniors.

• 2–5 Years of experience building AI applications;
• Proven experience building and deploying AI applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, voice AI, or equivalent;
• Production experience with Python;
• Experience with cloud infrastructure;
• Experience shipping products used by real people and ability to explain what worked and what did not;
• Ability to move from an idea to a working product without much steering;
• Interest in both business problems and technical solutions;
• Ability to explain decisions clearly to people without the same context;
• Ongoing curiosity about the GenAI field;
• Experience building a side project, tool, or contribution independently.

• An attractive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget between 63.000 and 90.000; 40 hours is possible on a pro-rated basis;
• Placement in Hay scale 9 or 10 depending on knowledge and experience;
