AI Engineer/AI - Strategy & Implementation

For a leading Greek company operating in the consumer healthcare sector, with a strong market presence and expanding international operations: Senior AI Engineer/AI Lead

• Assess business needs, identify high-impact AI opportunities and define a realistic AI roadmap with clear priorities, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Lead AI initiatives end to end, from opportunity assessment and solution design through development, integration, deployment and continuous improvement in production.
• Design and implement AI applications, LLM-based assistants, intelligent agents and workflow automations that improve productivity and business processes.
• Integrate AI solutions with business systems and data sources, including SoftOne ERP, CRM platforms and databases, using APIs and reliable data pipelines.
• Develop sales intelligence and business analytics solutions to monitor performance, analyze KPIs, identify commercial opportunities and support management reporting.
• Leverage sales, inventory and order data for demand forecasting, inventory optimization and Supply Chain planning.
• Build internal tools to search, organize and leverage scientific literature, technical documentation and company knowledge, with source traceability and appropriate review by subject-matter experts.
• Develop secure internal AI assistants to support management and business teams with information retrieval, reporting and selected task automation.
• Establish appropriate AI governance practices, including data protection, access controls, solution reliability and compliance with applicable GDPR and EU AI Act requirements.
• Evaluate AI technologies and external partners, support user adoption and training, and measure the effectiveness of initiatives through defined KPIs.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong software engineering and AI development skills, with proven experience building and operating AI applications in production environments.
• Practical expertise in Python, LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, prompt engineering, APIs, SQL and databases.
• Experience with systems integration, data pipelines, business intelligence and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), Git, Docker and relevant AI/ML frameworks and tools.
• Ability to take ownership of projects autonomously, translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong business understanding, organizational skills and a focus on measurable impact and outcomes.
• Experience establishing an AI function or delivering end-to-end AI projects will be considered a significant advantage.

• Annual Gross Compensation: Base Salary €32.000 - €56.000
