• Set the technical direction for AI and GenAI initiatives, including architecture and build-vs-buy decisions;
• Build and ship production-grade AI solutions, LLM applications, RAG systems, and agents;
• Implement evaluation suites, observability, tracing, and guardrails to ensure reliability;
• Monitor and optimize AI costs and latency through caching and model routing;
• Lead the productization of AI services to ensure repeatable and dependable outcomes;
• Mentor and lift surrounding engineers through technical guidance and workshops;
• Translate AI capabilities into tangible client value and challenge non-essential AI implementations;
• Research and integrate emerging AI technologies into the product stack.

• 3–5 Years of experience in software engineering, specifically building and shipping production AI/ML or GenAI systems;
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI stacks, including LLM APIs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks;
• Expertise in LLMOps, including evals, observability, tracing, and prompt version control;
• Ability to provide technical leadership through influence and architectural decision-making;
• Strong business acumen to distinguish between hype and value-driven AI solutions;
• Ability to thrive in a self-managed, distributed authority environment;
• Fluent in English;
• Nice to have: Data or BI background, consultancy experience, cloud and deployment skills (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, CI/CD), model distillation, structured outputs, and multimodal pipelines.
