ux/ui designer for public sector and energy

PwC Deutschland’s Public & Energy Transformation Team helps organizations transform their work and operating models through consulting and support in areas such as digitalization, the energy transition, mobility, and demographic change. Its clients include federal and state authorities, municipalities, public companies, universities, and nonprofit organizations.

• Develop user-centered interaction and product design concepts;
• Conduct user analyses and usability tests;
• Collaborate with development and product management to ensure optimal user experiences;
• Work in a cross-functional team with business, technology, and consulting teams in the Public Sector & Energy area;
• Contribute to projects within PwC’s “PET AI Tech-Hub” team;
• Take responsibility for the relevant design area.

• Completed degree in Design, Media Informatics, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable field;
• Experience designing digital products, ideally with a focus on data- and AI-driven interfaces;
• Product- and experience-level conceptual skills;
• Strong visual design understanding;
• Professional proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including Figma and AI Prototyping Tools;
• Confidence presenting design concepts, planning and moderating design workshops, and conducting design sprints;
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies for close collaboration with developers;
• Knowledge of building design systems;
• Experience with accessibility standards such as WCAG;
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in interdisciplinary teams;
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, creativity, enthusiasm for innovation, and empathy for user needs.
