Shape the future of UX design for Star Trek Fleet Command through new features, principles, practices, and standards;
Own and deliver complete UX for new features and player experiences from ideas to fully developed designs;
Build deep game knowledge and ground design decisions in real player perspectives and experiences;
Find relevant references and comps, deconstructing them to identify inspiration and common pitfalls;
Visualise ideas through sketches, low- to medium-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive UX prototypes;
Identify weak points, gaps, and opportunities in designs through critical thinking and design judgment;
Work closely with product teams, game designers, and artists throughout development;
Share work proactively, keep stakeholders informed, and provide relevant information when needed;
Use feedback, data, and other insights to refine designs and make intentional improvements;
Support long-term product and UX consistency by applying design principles and patterns.

Extensive experience specialising in game UX development, with a track record of delivering features or initiatives from concept to implementation;
Confidence navigating ambiguity, identifying next steps, recognising blockers, and taking initiative;
Solutions-oriented mindset with thoughtful and creative problem-solving skills;
Strong understanding of game development norms and pipelines, including technical constraints, implementation realities, and cross-discipline workflows;
Genuine passion for playing and making games, with a player-centered approach to design.
