Pennylane builds a financial operating system for small and medium-sized businesses in Europe. It helps entrepreneurs reduce time spent on accounting and finance tasks while giving them access to key financial information, and supports accounting firms in reducing repetitive work and focusing more on advising their clients.

• Conduct discovery workshops and user research;
• Analyze data, user feedback, and business requirements;
• Own the continuous development of the product area together with the Product Manager;
• Develop solutions at the appropriate level of detail, from initial concepts to high-fidelity prototypes;
• Provide feedback to colleagues and contribute to cross-functional initiatives;
• Support team growth and participate in the recruiting process;
• Monitor current UX and UI trends and bring best practices from the international technology industry;
• Hire, coach, and potentially lead new designers as the team grows;
• Take on greater responsibility for strategic projects;
• Shape and further develop processes, tools, and best practices.

• Understand user needs and business requirements;
• Translate insights from user research, market analysis, and data into pragmatic solutions;
• Have experience with complex digital products and systems, including multiple modules, extensive functionality, or complex data structures;
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, Sales, Support, and other stakeholders;
• Integrate technical constraints and business goals into design work;
• Communicate clearly, constructively challenge existing assumptions, and confidently present design approaches;
• Speak fluent German and English;
• Nice to have: Experience in B2B product design.

• Work from the Berlin office, Hamburg location, Paris offices, or any WeWork location in Europe;
