Product designer für B2B-SaaS

As a Senior Product Designer (m/f/d/x) at EMIL, you are responsible for the end-to-end design of complex B2B SaaS workflows and full ownership of the UX, usability, and form of our product. Your goal: to make configuration-heavy tools intuitive, consistent, and effective. EMIL Group is an Insurtech founded in Berlin in 2016 that offers innovative SaaS solutions for the insurance industry. Our software enables insurers to master the shift into the digital age, driving the insurance industry's technological disruption. We are a team of experienced founders, insurance experts, and software experts.

• You continuously validate user needs through interviews, usability tests, and prototypes—before development begins.
• You design complex user flows, wireframes, and scalable information architecture for data-intensive interfaces (e.g., claims, workflow builders, admin panels).
• You create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes and actively develop our design system further—for absolute consistency, especially in data-intensive UIs (tables, filters, forms).
• You use current AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude) strategically to translate user needs into outstanding UX faster, and actively keep your toolset up to date in a rapidly changing field.
• You develop an in-depth understanding of the insurance domain and continuously expand our internal knowledge base.
• You provide Engineering with precise specs (assets, spacing, edge cases, states) and consistently represent the users’ perspective internally—with a focus on efficiency and error prevention.

• Please note that German language skills at a minimum C1 level are required for this role.
• You speak and write German and English fluently at a minimum C1 level.
