JetBrains develops developer tools that automate routine checks and corrections, helping developers work more efficiently. Air is the company’s agentic development environment, combining a native desktop app and a web-based experience with AI agents, cloud execution, and collaborative workflows.

• Design and deliver high-quality user interfaces through wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes;
• Lead large-scale initiatives from vision and strategy through execution;
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and researchers to define problems, align goals, and ensure solutions meet user and business needs;
• Communicate design concepts and decisions to promote team alignment and comprehension;
• Collaborate with the UX Research and Analytics team to validate ideas and create solutions grounded in user needs and behavioral data;
• Work with the development team to implement and review UI/UX solutions;
• Improve design processes with the UX team;
• Help develop the design system to maintain visual and functional consistency while enabling flexibility and scale.

• At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design;
• Experience designing complex functional interfaces;
• Willingness to explore complex programming-related topics;
• Ability to prototype, verify, present, and explain UI/UX solutions;
• Diligence and attention to detail;
• Spoken and written English sufficient for everyday communication and documentation;
• Proactivity, independence, and strong time-management skills;
• Ability to work in a team and seek feedback to improve solutions and processes;
• Nice to have: experience designing developer-focused products or technical environments, programming and working with AI.
