Product Designer for AI shopping app

Joko is an AI shopping app that helps consumers save time and money when shopping online and in-store. Its products include cashback, automatic coupons, price alerts, and Juno, a shopping assistant that recommends products based on users’ preferences.

• Design the AI shopping experience for Juno, from conversation flows to recommendations that build user trust
• Own product problems end to end: frame problems with Product Managers and Engineers, talk to users, explore directions, prototype, ship, analyze data and reviews, and iterate
• Improve core journeys, including onboarding, activation, cashback collection, and redemption, prioritizing polish over feature accumulation
• Design adaptive experiences across home, search, and browse using shopping data to make recommendations more helpful
• Design for the mobile app, web app, desktop extension, and mobile Safari extension across France, the US, and future markets
• Shape the design system, craft standards, reviews, and team rituals; decide when to use, extend, or refactor the system
• Partner with Brand Design to create a consistent experience from advertising through cashback delivery
• Use modern AI and design tools to accelerate discovery, prototyping, and iteration

• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Designer
• Understand the craft and demands of designing for consumer mobile audiences, including pixel-level rigor, motion, and on-screen copy
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, interaction design, and attention to detail
• Able to frame problems with Product and Engineering, conduct user conversations, explore directions, and polish final UI independently
• Recent hands-on experience using AI in a design workflow
• Experience working with design systems and knowing when to follow, extend, or challenge them
• Experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Brand or Marketing Designers; clear communication and openness to feedback
• Autonomous and accountable, able to raise problems early and thrive in a small, ambitious team
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Entrepreneurial mindset, openness to challenges and feedback, and commitment to continuous learning
