Timeleft is a social app that brings strangers together by matching groups of six for dinners, drinks, coffees, and runs at restaurants, cafés, and bars. More than 150,000 people attend Timeleft events every week across 200+ cities in 52 countries.

• Own end-to-end design across the mobile app, web surfaces, back-office tools, and design system, translating product goals and user insights into thoughtful, high-quality UX
• Lead design discovery and execution, from concept exploration and prototyping to detailed interaction and visual design, with a focus on learning and iteration
• Partner with product managers and engineers to define problems, explore opportunities, and deliver solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Apply systems thinking to keep work consistent and scalable, and evolve the design system as the company grows
• Communicate design rationale using storytelling and data to build alignment and move teams forward
• Collaborate cross-functionally, take ownership of work, and adapt plans as priorities evolve
• Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration, prototype ideas, and synthesize insights, applying human judgment to final decisions

• 5+ Years designing mobile consumer products
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership and thoughtful problem-solving across mobile-first experiences
• Strong interaction and visual design skills, with judgment about when to polish and when to ship
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools, and comfort working across different fidelity levels, from early concepts to production-ready designs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and engineers, taking ownership while working toward shared outcomes
• Experience using AI tools in design workflows and ideation, with curiosity about responsible AI use in product design
• Clear, empathetic communication and ability to give and receive feedback constructively and contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement
• This is a senior individual contributor role, not a design management role. Candidates seeking to manage designers as their day job are not suited to the role
