motion designer for digital advertising

Basic Markaðsstofa is a digital marketing agency based in Reykjavík, Iceland. It creates graphic and motion content for social media, digital advertising, campaigns, branding, and other marketing materials for clients across different industries.

• Create digital advertising creatives and campaign assets;
• Produce motion graphics and animated social content;
• Design print and digital marketing materials;
• Create short-form videos and edit video content;
• Develop brand and visual identity materials;
• Adapt existing brand identities across different formats;
• Work with multiple clients and visual styles;
• Use AI and new creative tools to improve and accelerate production.

• Have a strong professional portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and motion design;
• Demonstrate strong visual design, typography, composition, and layout skills;
• Have professional experience with social media and advertising creative;
• Have strong Adobe After Effects skills;
• Have strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills;
• Have experience with video editing;
• Work effectively across different brands and visual styles;
• Take a brief and work independently from concept through delivery;
• Speak and write English well;
• Communicate reliably and collaborate with a remote team;
• Work with substantial overlap with Icelandic working hours;
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines comfortably;
• Applications without relevant motion-design work will not be considered;
• Nice to have: Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender or other 3D software, branding and visual identity experience, print design experience, agency experience, AI image/video generation and AI-assisted creative workflows.

• €1,500 Per month;
• Team members have the public holidays in their country off;
• Long-term team members receive paid annual leave.
