Product Designer

Demant is a world-leading hearing healthcare group developing, manufacturing, and selling market-leading hearing aids, diagnostic equipment, and personal communication technology. The Warsaw center creates software solutions for people with hearing impairments as part of the global Danish company Demant.

• Balance users’ needs with business objectives, requirements, usage patterns, technical feasibility and agreed scope;
• Ensure common understanding of users’ needs in Agile Teams in collaboration with Product Owner;
• Provide design deliverables on an incremental basis including user flows, mock-ups, clickable prototypes, final UI designs in collaboration with Agile Team;
• Follow design system and advocate for consistency;
• Follow agreed best practices for design documentation;
• Collaborate with UX Researcher in preparing, conducting, and analyzing research in order to identify and solve potential problems and risks related to the context of use;
• Collaborate with UX Writer when designing the features to ensure clear communication and that writing guidelines are followed;
• Regularly present designs to Agile Team, stakeholders and other designers to gather feedback;
• Collaborate with Agile Team, PMs and LUXCE members on feature cards, new ideas and feature/product or design system improvements;
• Act as member of one Agile Team, while giving and receiving support from other Product Designers in the value stream where expertise is needed;
• Take part in team and SAFe events;
• Take part in Competence group to discuss current issues and share knowledge on best practices;
• Give and receive feedback to continually raise the bar set for quality;
• Build lasting, good relations with others based on respect, trust and openness;
• Perform work conscientiously and carefully, in accordance with the requirements of the quality policy;
• Promote product design excellence within the organization;
• Continue to build knowledge on product design and the organization;
• Receive a moderate level of guidance;
• Keep up with the latest trends in product design;
• Attempt to solve problems under own initiative in a transparent way.

• Minimum 2 years of work experience on Design or UX position;
• Deep understanding of user centered design field;
• Strong communication skills and an outstanding ability to work with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure or similar;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: Higher education in design, social or human sciences, human computer interaction or related.
