Kimchi.dev is a B2B, product-led coding platform that combines coding agents, an inference layer, and a spend console for teams building software with AI agents. It offers a CLI coding agent, a desktop app, and IDE extensions, with enterprise observability, budget attribution, spend caps, and self-hosted deployment. Its inference runs on Cast AI’s OMNI GPU infrastructure.

• Own problems end-to-end across the Kimchi surface, from research through shipped design and measured outcomes
• Lead user research initiatives independently, synthesize findings, and make the case for what the product should do next
• Prototype in code using AI-assisted workflows to test ideas directly in the product
• Bring evidence-backed perspectives to product strategy conversations, informed by product usage, research, and competitor awareness
• Participate in cross-squad design reviews to identify overlap, raise the quality bar, and stay aware of other designers’ work
• Track design debt and push to prioritize it when risk factors or user feedback make it urgent

• A portfolio or case study demonstrating senior-level design work on developer tools, AI/LLM products, coding agents, or other technical, data-heavy SaaS platforms
• Experience owning research end-to-end and using findings to influence product direction
• Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows and interest in staying hands-on with the codebase
• Ability to make and defend decisions under ambiguity without relying on a fixed process
• Experience designing for technical users and discussing APIs, architecture, and system constraints with engineers
• Strong asynchronous communication and clear, concise writing
