Senior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to help shape and evolve the visual identity of our esports brands and the wider NIP Group portfolio. This role sits within the Brand & Creative team and is responsible for delivering high-impact design across competitive gaming titles, social channels, campaigns, events, partnerships, fan engagement, and internal communications.

As a senior member of the design function, you will take ownership of complex creative projects, contribute to the development and consistency of visual systems, and help maintain a strong creative standard across multiple brands—including Ninjas in Pyjamas, eStar Gaming, and initiatives connected to ventures such as Ninjas in Mining and other projects within the group.

The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design craft with motion capabilities, a deep understanding of esports and digital audiences, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling visual experiences that feel authentic to gaming culture and to the NIP brand.

• Support the creative development and execution of visual assets across key esports titles, including Counter-Strike, Rocket League, Rainbow Six, and future competitive gaming initiatives.
• Design high-impact social media content, campaign creative, promotional graphics, and platform-specific assets that engage gaming and esports audiences.
• Create YouTube thumbnails, video packaging assets, end slates, intro sequences, lower thirds, and other content-supporting graphics to enhance digital storytelling and audience engagement.
• Develop motion graphics and animated creative for social media, tournaments, live broadcasts, commercial partnerships, and branded content initiatives.
• Design and maintain broadcast graphics packages, including overlays, transitions, scoreboards, lower thirds, stingers, countdown screens, and other live production assets.
• Collaborate closely with content creators, editors, producers, and social teams to deliver visually compelling content across multiple channels.
• Support the visual identity development of esports properties, campaigns, and special projects, ensuring consistency across all audience touchpoints.
• Contribute creative direction and design expertise to new brand initiatives, including projects related to Ninjas in Mining and other ventures within the wider business portfolio.
• Partner with video production teams on content shoots, helping shape creative concepts, set design, lighting direction, and overall visual presentation.
• Support player, talent, and lifestyle photoshoots by providing creative input on composition, branding integration, environments, and visual storytelling.
• Create key art, event branding, tournament creative, partnership assets, merchandise concepts, and marketing materials for both digital and physical activations.
• Translate campaign concepts into scalable creative systems that can be adapted across social platforms, broadcast environments, events, and commercial deliverables.
• Maintain and evolve design templates, asset libraries, and creative guidelines to ensure efficiency and consistency across teams.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders across marketing, partnerships, content, esports operations, and production to deliver high-quality creative solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, creative quality, and brand consistency.
• Stay at the forefront of esports, gaming culture, digital content trends, and emerging creative techniques to continually elevate the visual standard of our brands.

• 7+ years of professional graphic design experience within esports, gaming, sports, entertainment, digital media, lifestyle brands, or creative agencies.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across brand design, campaign development, social content, marketing creative, and visual identity systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience creating motion graphics and animated assets using After Effects or similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of typography, composition, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Proven ability to own projects from concept through final delivery.
• Experience contributing to or leading the development of visual identities and brand systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently when required.
• High attention to detail and commitment to creative excellence.
• Strong understanding of esports, gaming communities, and contemporary digital culture.
• Experience working across multiple brands or business units is advantageous
