Nexters is an international game development company that creates core gaming experiences for casual players. It is part of the GDEV holding, which also includes Cubic Games, Royal Ark, and Game Gears.

• Create Playables end-to-end, from initial concept to a working and tested prototype;
• Study large volumes of competitors’ creatives and identify mechanics, visual patterns, and gameplay hooks that attract users;
• Extract gameplay motivations from video creatives and turn them into fast, engaging mini-games with repetitive and satisfying visual progression;
• Rapidly test and iterate on gameplay hypotheses, using results to decide what to improve, change, or discard;
• Build and continuously develop a structured database of successful creative and playable combinations and the patterns behind them;
• Configure and develop Playables, rapidly prototype, and use vibe coding;
• Work with tools such as Cocos, Lua, and other technologies;
• Work closely with the Playables Developer and share ownership of the product and its results;
• Keep processes lightweight and focus on outcomes rather than unnecessary documentation.

• Experience working with core game prototypes or core gameplay;
• Experience working in R&D or another environment where rapid experimentation and iteration are important;
• Strong interest in understanding why certain gameplay mechanics and creatives work;
• Ability and willingness to work in a very small cross-functional team with minimal bureaucracy;
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to build and test things independently;
• Ability to independently and quickly learn new and unfamiliar tools, technologies, and problems;
• High level of ownership and comfort taking responsibility for hypotheses, testing them, and making decisions based on results;
• Curiosity about new technologies and willingness to experiment with unfamiliar tools.
