Octo Games is an international game development studio based in the Netherlands. It creates commercial games for Steam, including Adult Visual Novels and story-driven games, and supports projects throughout the full development cycle.

• Create 2D images and visual assets using generative AI tools;
• Build, configure, and maintain workflows in ComfyUI;
• Select and integrate models, LoRAs, ControlNet tools, custom nodes, and other components into production workflows;
• Retouch, refine, and upscale generated artwork;
• Bring AI-generated images to polished, production-ready quality in Photoshop;
• Work closely with the art team and implement feedback and revisions;
• Maintain visual consistency across characters, scenes, and project assets;
• Identify technical and artistic limitations in generated results and find effective solutions;
• Develop, test, and improve the team’s AI production pipeline;
• Document workflows and help team members use AI tools effectively;
• Explore new generative AI tools, models, and approaches to improve production speed and visual quality.

• Experience in game development as a 2D Artist, Technical Artist, AI Artist, or in a similar role;
• Confident proficiency with ComfyUI and a strong understanding of generative image workflows;
• Experience with Stable Diffusion or other generative image models;
• Understanding of checkpoints, LoRAs, ControlNet, inpainting, upscaling, samplers, prompts, and other key elements of AI image generation;
• Confident proficiency with Adobe Photoshop;
• Strong understanding of composition, color, lighting, anatomy, and visual style;
• Ability to critically evaluate generated images and refine them to meet production requirements;
• Ability to maintain a consistent visual style across multiple assets;
• Combination of technical thinking and artistic judgment;
• Attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to feedback;
• Proactive approach and willingness to experiment, test hypotheses, and improve existing workflows;
• Ability to work effectively with artists and other production team members;
• Willingness to work with 18+ content;
• Access to a GPU with at least 12 GB of VRAM for working with generative models locally;
• Nice to have: Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects, knowledge of Python or experience working with custom ComfyUI nodes, experience creating visual content for Steam projects.
