Designer for privacy and security products

Join a fast-growing cybersecurity company building privacy and security products used by millions of people worldwide. We are a fully remote global team working at the intersection of digital privacy, security, and online freedom. We are looking for a Lead Designer (Hands-on) — a strong, hands-on design leader who combines personal execution with team leadership. This is not a classic management role: the majority of your time will still be spent designing, while you also guide and support designers te. You will work closely with marketing, and engineering teams.

• Design across platforms: web, mobile (iOS and Android), desktop (macOS and Windows), browser extensions
• Develop end-to-end UX flows, including edge cases, error states, and interaction logic
• Guide and distribute tasks between designers on your team, run weekly syncs and design reviews
• Maintain and evolve the design system — components, tokens, and reusable patterns
• Conduct UX research and competitive analysis to ground design decisions in evidence
• Formulate and test design hypotheses through A/B testing and user research
• Present, justify, and defend design solutions in design reviews and cross-functional discussions
• Support marketing needs: banners, promotional materials, and advertising creatives
• Hand off designs to engineering via Figma Dev Mode and support implementation to ensure fidelity

• Strong portfolio demonstrating extensive 4+ years experience in UX/UI design for both web and mobile applications across multiple languages and localized contexts.
• Demonstrated track record of improving conversion rates and enhancing the overall user experience through data-driven design decisions.
• Proven ability to balance a primary focus on product design with impactful communication design, including advertising creatives, marketing assets, and brand projects.
• Hands-on experience designing and conducting experiments, such as A/B testing and user research, to validate user flows and interface elements.
• Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design, prototyping, and collaboration tools, with an exceptional level of expertise in Figma.
• Proven ability to effectively leverage AI tools and automation to enhance performance, optimize workflows, and support data‑driven decisions.
• Exceptional skill in formulating design hypotheses, test and validate them effectively.
• Strategic design leadership skills aimed at ensuring visual and functional consistency across both product features and user acquisition campaigns.
• Experience implementing AI tools to streamline and speedup deliverables.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and team management skills, with a proven ability to align design strategies and collaborate effectively across product, marketing, business, and development teams.
• Previous experience managing other designers 1+ years, with the ability to combine hands-on execution with team leadership responsibilities.
• Previous background working in highly dynamic, fast-paced markets
• Localization and internationalization experience for multilingual, global-audience products
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher level of English proficiency.
