Cognivate is a Warsaw-based consultancy working mainly with banks and other financial institutions on complex technology and transformation projects.

• Develop the bank’s Payment Acceptance Platform;
• Analyze business needs and translate them into clear system requirements;
• Analyze the acquiring lifecycle from merchant onboarding through transaction processing, clearing, settlement, funding, and reporting;
• Analyze merchant lifecycle processes, including merchant hierarchy and MCC classification;
• Support changes related to settlement, reconciliation, and merchant accounting;
• Work on dispute and chargeback processes;
• Analyze integrations between the acceptance platform and other banking and payment systems;
• Support digital payments, e-commerce, fraud prevention, and merchant reporting initiatives;
• Prepare test scenarios and support UAT, integration, and regression testing;
• Work closely with business teams, developers, architects, operations, accounting, risk, and external technology partners.

• 5+ Years of experience as a System Analyst, Business-System Analyst, Solution Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar role;
• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, acquiring, PSP, or payment processing;
• Strong understanding of end-to-end acquiring;
• Practical knowledge of merchant onboarding and merchant lifecycle processes;
• Good understanding of clearing, settlement, merchant funding, and reconciliation;
• Knowledge of disputes and chargebacks;
• Understanding of digital payments and e-commerce;
• Ability to connect business processes with the technology behind them;
• Polish and English communication skills;
• Nice to have: Familiarity with ISO8583, ISO20022, and EMV.

• B2B contract;
• Start date: 1 October 2026;
• 12-Month duration with an option to extend.
