System Analyst

Oxagile is a custom software development vendor focusing on multi-platform video streaming, AdTech, EdTech, RTC, big data, Artificial Intelligence, and business intelligence solutions, while also actively driving AI software development to empower businesses.

• Investigate and document existing system behavior and identify needed adjustments;
• Interact with the development team on system optimization and improvements requirements;
• Communicate with stakeholders on the system requirements;
• Coordinate requirements with internal and external customers;
• Translate business ideas into well-structured requirements;
• Formalize, document, and visualize business and technical requirements;
• Digest complex requirements and convert into INVEST user stories;
• Develop and maintain documentation, including technical documentation;
• Plan and monitor the BA process and activities.

• At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in System Analyst or Business Analyst activities;
• Experience as a BA on enterprise or SaaS projects with microservices architecture;
• Ability to synchronize requirements between teams;
• Knowledge of the broadcast and media domain, including MAM, scheduling, playout, and ingest or transcoding, or willingness to quickly get up to speed;
• Confident reading of C4 diagrams for context, container, and component;
• Understanding of event-driven architecture with Kafka and workflow orchestration with Temporal or similar, at the level of being able to formalize a business process as a definition, activity, or trigger;
• Experience formulating NFRs including performance, availability, multi-tenancy, security, compliance, and data residency as verifiable criteria;
• Experience maintaining Q&A registers with the client and vendors and tracking open questions across rounds;
• Ability to write functional requirements with prioritization using MoSCoW or similar analog;
• Experience preparing business requirements and scope, entity glossary, and risk register;
• Good knowledge of Agile-based methodologies;
• Excellent presentation skills;
• First-rate communicator in English;
• Strong can-do attitude, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to walk the extra mile;
• High level of self-motivation with minimal supervision required;
• Fluent in English;
• Nice to have: Understanding of access role models such as RBAC, ABAC, and permission matrices; Familiarity with the concept of micro-frontend and Module Federation; Ability to elicit requirements through customer interviews; Structured thinking for breaking down a complex domain into clear artifacts; Proactiveness in identifying risks and contradictions between requirements from different teams.
