ALTEN Portugal, a leading force in the IT, Engineering and Life Sciences industries. We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and a solid understanding of Procurement processes to help transform data into actionable business insights. In this role, you will work closely with Procurement, Finance and Operations teams to analyze purchasing data, improve reporting capabilities, automate repetitive processes and develop dashboards that support decision-making across the business. Collect, analyze and interpret data related to Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
Monitor and report on key purchasing metrics, spending trends and supplier performance indicators.
Analyze Procurement data including Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipts (GRs), invoices and related transactional information.
Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose data-driven improvements.
Automate manual reporting and operational activities using Power Platform tools, Excel, Power Query, Power Automate or similar technologies.
Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across multiple systems and data sources.
Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, IT and business teams to translate requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
Support ad-hoc analyses and provide insights that contribute to operational and strategic decision-making.

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a similar role.
Practical experience working with Procurement or Purchasing data.
Good understanding of Procurement processes, including Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipts (GRs), invoice matching and purchasing workflows.
Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling and DAX.
Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Strong Excel skills, including Power Query and advanced reporting capabilities.
Experience with process automation tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps or similar platforms.
Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent.
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and KPI development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent English communication skills.
