Product data analyst for dating apps

Muzz is the world’s biggest dating and marriage app for Muslims, but we’ve still got a way to go! We need a smart and ambitious data analyst, with real entrepreneurial flair to join our Data team to understand our members and all the metrics that matter. Love numbers and love being commercial? This is the role for you.

• You’ll be understanding our user behaviour on the app with a view to generating actionable insights in terms of both product and marketing
• You’ll analyse funnels and conversion across key user journeys, identifying drop-off points and opportunities to improve the experience
• You’ll own reporting – set up and maintain dashboards in Data Studio to assess KPIs whilst enabling self-service
• You’ll work with product managers to define KPIs and metrics, and compare performance across our markets
• You’ll own event tracking in Mixpanel, working with mobile and backend engineers to define tracking requirements and make sure key user actions are captured accurately
• You’ll provide analytical support across all areas of the product development lifecycle, from opportunity to product strategy, feature analysis and experimentation, including supporting the design and analysis of A/B tests
• You’ll provide continuous training of business users to get the most out of Data Studio

• 1+ years of experience in a data, product or similar analyst role
• Strong SQL skills, with an interest in writing efficient, maintainable queries
• Experience with a BI tool (e.g. Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent communication skills and presenting to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• A curious, proactive mindset and comfort working with ambiguity
