• Prepare market and economic updates;
• Develop portfolio commentaries;
• Produce client portfolio analytics and investment insights;
• Conduct competitor intelligence;
• Create client presentation materials;
• Analyze risk and performance attribution;
• Work with specialty teams covering investment strategies such as Credit, Emerging Markets and Alternatives;
• Build an understanding of investment management across different market segments;
• Gain exposure to product design, development and distribution, portfolio analysis and client communication.

• Be an undergraduate pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date from December 2027 to June 2028;
• Be available to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 and August 2028;
• Be on track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent;
• Be business proficient in English;
• Have a passion for financial markets, macroeconomics and investment management;
• Have strong analytical skills;
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Communicate complex ideas clearly;
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Show curiosity and experience using emerging technologies and AI tools in work or school projects to solve problems and drive better outcomes;
• Be results-oriented with strong attention to detail and time management skills;
• Nice to have: programming language skills.
