• conducting economic research on energy markets and regulatory environments
• performing macroeconomic and sectoral analyses
• preparing forecasts that inform investment and operational decisions
• building and maintaining statistical models
• analyzing production and cost data
• preparing reports, presentations, and recommendations for management
• collaborating with technical, financial, and operational teams to evaluate project feasibility, assess policy impacts, and support budgeting and long-term planning
• monitoring global and regional economic trends and identifying risks and opportunities relevant to the atomic energy sector

• Strong foundation in Economics and Macroeconomics, with the ability to apply economic theory to practical issues in the energy sector.
• Proficiency in Economic Research and Statistics, including data collection, modeling, and quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with the capacity to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with statistical and econometric software (e.g., Excel, R, Stata, or similar tools) and strong spreadsheet skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical findings to non-specialist stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Kazakhstan, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
