Data analyst in pensions administration

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Analyst to join a growing team supporting large-scale implementation and transformation projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional with strong analytical skills and experience working with complex datasets, system migrations, and client stakeholders.

• Analyse, validate, and transform client data for system implementations and migrations.
• Gather and interpret client requirements, processes, and data structures.
• Perform data mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and migration activities.
• Support the loading of transformed data into target systems.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data issues throughout implementation projects.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Conduct system demonstrations and provide implementation support.
• Contribute to platform enhancements, testing, and technical documentation.
• Support project delivery by identifying risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Mentor and support junior team members where required.

• Experience in Data Analysis, Data Migration, or Implementation Projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data manipulation.
• Strong experience with SQL.
• Proven experience in data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in a client-facing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Knowledge of Pension Schemes including Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), CARE, or Annuities.
• Experience within pensions administration, financial services, or consulting environments.
