• Own the design and delivery of parts of Data Analytics solutions based on business requirements, from initial idea generation through implementation with some supervision;
• Consume data, prepare it for analytical use, and translate business problems into data stories;
• Deliver work within the team’s scope that informs business decisions for the relevant product or business topic;
• Use data analysis and data visualization skills to answer business questions and create actionable insights;
• Collaborate with operational and project-based stakeholders under manager guidance and present data insights in an accessible, business-friendly manner;
• Adopt internal Data Analytics approaches and expand technical competencies when more efficient methods emerge;
• Develop craft skills while applying Data Analytics to well-defined business problems;
• Support junior peers through knowledge sharing and setting a good example;
• Network and proactively connect with craft peers beyond the team’s scope;
• Connect with peers in related crafts, including Data Engineering, to support successful project outcomes;
• Ensure the quality of own work through peer review.

• Work independently on data consumption, preparation, and analysis while requesting guidance for more complex tasks;
• Apply foundational data analysis and data visualization skills;
• Incorporate stakeholder requirements into intuitive and insightful visualizations;
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present insights in a business-friendly manner;
• Familiarity with Booking’s broader data ecosystem and its relation to the role;
• High-level knowledge of the goals of the relevant area, such as a track or vertical.

• Contract employment;
• Amsterdam, Netherlands, with 2 days per week onsite.
