data analyst for BI reporting

• Collect, clean, and transform data from relational and NoSQL databases in on-premise and cloud environments;
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and processing;
• Use Python or similar languages for advanced data processing, statistical analysis, and automation;
• Apply statistical inference methods, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis;
• Conduct A/B testing and interpret results to support data-driven decision-making;
• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView;
• Select appropriate visualization methods for different business cases;
• Work with direct connections, live queries, and extracts in BI platforms;
• Evaluate and optimize BI licensing models and provide recommendations on functionality, scalability, and cost;
• Integrate, analyze, and visualize data in Azure, GCP, or AWS;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytics that impact business outcomes;
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards across reporting solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field;
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst;
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server;
• Experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and DynamoDB;
• Practical experience using Python for analysis, data processing, and automation;
• Knowledge of statistical inference and applied statistics, including A/B testing, confidence intervals, and regression;
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView, including DAX, LOD, and Set Analysis;
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and chart selection;
• Experience working with on-premise and cloud platforms for data analysis and visualization;
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above;
• German at Intermediate+ level or above;
• Nice to have: experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines, familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, Databricks, or Redshift, recognized professional certifications, knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
