business analyst IT Audit

Deloitte is an international professional services firm offering Technology & Transformation, Strategy, Risk & Transactions, Audit & Assurance, and Tax & Legal Services to Azerbaijani and global clients.

• Support the Audit & Assurance team in assessing IT-related risks impacting financial reporting;
• Assist with IT General Controls (ITGC) testing, including access management, change management, and Data Center and Network Operations;
• Participate in audits of ERP systems and other critical financial applications;
• Help evaluate automated controls within business processes;
• Document IT audit procedures, findings, and evidence in accordance with internal methodologies and best practices;
• Support the team in identifying deficiencies in IT control environments and developing recommendations for mitigation;
• Coordinate with financial auditors to understand audit objectives and align the IT testing approach;
• Assist with data extraction and analysis to support substantive testing using audit tools such as ACL and Excel;
• Participate in walkthroughs with client IT and finance personnel to understand system processes;
• Stay updated on basic IT audit concepts, cybersecurity trends, and relevant regulations such as SOX and COBIT;
• Provide administrative and logistical support during client meetings and audit fieldwork.

• Graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems Administration;
• Knowledge of practices and standards used in IT Audit, including COSO, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC 1/2/3, and CIS;
• Advanced written and spoken Azerbaijani;
• Advanced written and spoken English;
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills;
• Customer service orientation;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities;
• Team player;
• Nice to have: experience in cyber or information security governance/management.
