business analyst in finance applications

Lockheed Martin is a defense and space manufacturing company. Its EBDT organization develops IT solutions, while the 1LMX Finance Applications Team supports ERP systems and processes in the Cognitus Incurred Cost Claim arena.

• Analyze financial business processes and procedures for improvement and system applicability;
• Define solutions supporting Incurred Cost Claim configuration in Cognitus and related business processes;
• Perform gap analysis and system re-engineering of ICC activities;
• Participate in and lead blueprinting, configuration, testing, and production support;
• Design, develop, configure, generate specifications, perform unit testing, and assess operational readiness;
• Perform scrum master tasks;
• Author functional specifications for enhancements, conversions, interfaces, reports, and custom transactions;
• Perform configuration tasks within the Cognitus tool;
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing;
• Document solutions and train the end-user community.

• Significant understanding of ICC business processes;
• Experience authoring functional specifications based on customer requirements;
• Experience working with developers to design and standardize customized functional solutions;
• Experience facilitating data-driven decisions;
• Ability to apply functional knowledge to meet operational business needs, increase revenue, and reduce cost;
• Experience providing technical leadership to teams delivering solutions through the full software lifecycle;
• Established program management skills with experience managing technical, cost, and schedule performance;
• Experience engaging and managing relationships with strategic stakeholders to achieve shared objectives;
• Experience with SAP implementations;
• US citizenship required due to system access;
• Nice to have: Experience with Cognitus Incurred Cost Claim functionality, full life cycle implementation experience, problem-solving and analytical skills, troubleshooting skills related to integrating multiple IT systems, formal Agile project management experience or SAFe certifications, experience implementing transformational projects and sharing best practices, effective technical and functional communication and facilitation skills.

• Remote full-time telework from a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office or job site;
• Periodic travel to a Lockheed Martin office may be required for meetings.
