• Model and document business processes, value streams, business capabilities, roles, and data structures;
• Elicit, analyse, validate, and manage business requirements and user stories;
• Collaborate with business experts, Product Owners, architects, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Translate business, user, and technical needs into detailed business requirements specifications;
• Maintain and track requirements and user stories throughout the project lifecycle;
• Analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation;
• Support the preparation of business cases, feasibility studies, and solution recommendations;
• Contribute to solution design, testing, quality assurance, and change management activities;
• Design, validate, and continuously improve business processes to drive operational excellence;
• Conduct quantitative business analysis, including cost-benefit and what-if analyses;
• Define and monitor business process performance indicators and measurement frameworks;
• Support business stakeholders in developing strategic and tactical plans;
• Develop transition roadmaps and support business architecture initiatives;
• Lead and support organisational change activities, including stakeholder engagement and user adoption;
• Coach and support users during the implementation of new processes and systems;
• Communicate project objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to key stakeholders.

• Hold at least two internationally recognized Business Analysis certifications, such as CBAP, Certified UML Professional (Foundation Level), BPMN 2 Fundamental, or equivalent;
• Have at least 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on large-scale information systems with development teams of more than 10 developers;
• Have experience in business analysis for enterprise information systems supporting Human Resource Management, Asset Management, Financial Processes, and Grant Agreement Management;
• Have experience working on projects involving system integrations and data platforms;
• Have experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC);
• Have strong knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN;
• Have proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and management;
• Have a solid understanding of modelling and analysis techniques, including UML, activity diagrams, state diagrams, capability diagrams, and logical data models;
• Have practical experience using modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent solutions;
• Have a good understanding of SQL and data analysis techniques;
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
• Have strong documentation capabilities and the ability to create and maintain high-quality analytical and project documentation;
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Be willing to work as a freelancer under a B2B contract model in a long-term project;
• Nice to have: Experience working with EU Agencies, European Institutions, or public sector organizations.
