Business Analyst

DRL LLC provides research services and operates within the information technology sector.

• Support the PM in gathering, clarifying, and documenting business and functional requirements;
• Draft and maintain project documentation including user stories, functional specifications, user guides, and process maps;
• Log, track, and follow up on client requests, feature enhancements, and bug reports;
• Assist in reviewing existing system workflows and identifying gaps or inefficiencies;
• Prepare onboarding and training materials for end users and support user adoption activities;
• Assist with basic usage and adoption reporting and support analysis of system performance metrics.

• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a Business/Management-related field;
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum concepts;
• Good verbal and written English (mandatory);
• Ability to explain technical topics in simple, clear language;
• Comfortable asking questions, clarifying assumptions, and communicating with senior colleagues;
• Nice to have: internship, coursework, capstone, or personal project experience in analysis, documentation, or software testing, background or coursework in the oil & gas industry, familiarity with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire), familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps).
