• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications while leveraging AI-powered tools;
• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities;
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve business processes and team efficiency;
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to design and implement solutions;
• Write SQL queries to test and analyse data;
• Use Python for data analysis, automation, or prototyping where applicable;
• Support data validation, testing, and quality assurance processes;
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives;
• Maintain and manage product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria;
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Produce clear documentation, including process flows, requirements, and reports.

• Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst;
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments;
• Solid SQL skills, including data querying, joins, aggregations, and performance optimisation;
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience with data analysis and reporting;
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools;
• Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Quicksight, or MicroStrategy;
• Strong understanding of how AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot can enhance business analysis, documentation, and productivity;
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences;
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment;
• Proactive and self-driven;
• Nice to have: Experience in the music or music publishing industry, basic to intermediate Python skills, experience with data platforms or cloud environments especially AWS, knowledge of data modelling concepts, understanding of APIs and system integrations, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
