A professional services consultancy provides data expertise and strategic solutions across various client projects and industries.

• Gather and document business and project requirements from stakeholders at varying levels;
• Analyse and profile large, complex datasets, identifying data quality issues and cleansing where needed;
• Design conceptual, logical and physical data models to support business needs;
• Create mapping specifications for data migrations;
• Build and deliver data dashboards and data stories using Tableau, PowerBI or Qlik;
• Manage team backlogs using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps, working within Agile frameworks;
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders;
• Design appropriate data storage solutions, drawing on knowledge of OLTP and OLAP systems;
• Act as a translator between technical teams and the business, communicating clearly in both directions.

• Strong SQL skills;
• Experience with data modelling;
• Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering and stakeholder management;
• Familiarity with OLTP and OLAP systems;
• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders;
• Proficiency with at least one BI or dashboarding tool including Tableau, PowerBI or Qlik;
• Experience managing backlogs in Jira or Azure DevOps within Agile teams;
• Knowledge of Python pandas;
• Experience with cloud platforms;
• Prior consultancy background, with proven ability to operate in client-facing, fast-moving environments;
• Nice to have: Experience creating data migration mapping specifications, Exposure to multiple cloud platforms or specific enterprise data environments.
