• Analyze and document source-to-target data mappings for complex migration activities;
• Profile, cleanse, and validate large datasets from legacy systems;
• Support ETL processes and transformation logic development;
• Perform reconciliation between legacy and target systems to ensure data integrity and completeness;
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies;
• Contribute to data migration strategy, sequencing, and execution planning;
• Support testing cycles including SIT, UAT, and migration dress rehearsals;
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to data reporting and processes;
• Translate business needs into functional data specifications and user stories;
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across operations, finance, risk, and IT;
• Conduct gap analysis between current and target data models and processes;
• Support development of business data definitions, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation;
• Assist in defining data governance frameworks and controls;
• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights supporting decision-making;
• Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel or PowerPoint;
• Perform trend analysis and data validation for financial products;
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements;
• Support audit and compliance requests with accurate data extracts and documentation;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, testers, and business SMEs;
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams;
• Provide data expertise to support programme governance and decision-making;
• Contribute to risk identification and mitigation related to data migration and integrity.

• Strong experience in data analysis within large financial services organizations;
• Proven track record in data migration programmes from legacy to target systems;
• Excellent knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets;
• Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation techniques;
• Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement;
• Understanding of data modeling concepts including logical and physical models;
• Experience with ETL tools or data integration processes;
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and industry-standard analytics tools;
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks;
• Nice to have: Experience working on core banking or savings platforms, knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, GDPR), experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), exposure to Agile Scrum delivery methodologies, experience with metadata management and data lineage tools.
