qa engineer (auto) for payment integrations

The team is developing a payment gateway that accepts funds from users on behalf of merchants and sends funds from merchants to users. The system stores user payment data, is subject to PCI DSS compliance, and integrates with payment systems, providers, gateways, and processors, including 3DS.

• Perform quality control of a high-load web project throughout development, from requirements analysis to production release
• Automate API testing using Kotlin/Java and develop supporting utilities
• Automate UI testing using Playwright and develop supporting utilities
• Review automated test code
• Conduct manual testing
• Build releases, deploy to environments, verify tasks in production, and ensure system stability and operability
• Process and resolve requests from technical support and users as part of daily duties
• Monitor and improve metrics and dashboards in Grafana
• Analyze production bugs and incidents in Kibana
• Write clear, detailed bug and incident reports in Jira
• Create and maintain Postman collections
• Regularly update and improve the overall test plan in Allure TestOps
• Assist with onboarding new QA engineers and ensure test quality
• Define technical epics, prepare tasks, and conduct estimations

• 3+ Years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Practical test automation experience using a popular programming language, preferably Kotlin or Java; JavaScript is also possible
• Practical UI test automation experience with a popular framework, preferably Playwright
• Practical manual testing experience
• Experience testing integrations with external systems
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Codeium to improve development speed and quality
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code for production readiness and compliance with company standards
• Knowledge and ability to apply various test design techniques
• Knowledge of HTTP methods, features, and semantics
• SQL skills, including writing queries with various JOIN operations and using indexes
• Ability to work with test management systems such as Allure TestOps
• Experience with GitLab and Postman
• Experience analyzing production bugs and incidents in Kibana
• Experience working with metrics and dashboards in Grafana
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher
