qa engineer (auto) for investment management SaaS

SimCorp provides integrated investment management solutions for investment and asset managers. Its Digital Engagement Platform is a cloud-native SaaS product built on Microsoft Azure for asset management clients.

• Collaborate with three agile development teams;
• Understand and question customer requirements;
• Discuss solutions and implement automated tests;
• Conduct manual application testing and provide support;
• Focus on test automation for the DEP product;
• Automate testing in general;
• Automate load and data ingestion from multiple sources;
• Contribute to test strategies;
• Improve test management and processes, including planning, structuring, tracking, coordinating releases, and assessment;
• Improve product maintainability, observability, performance, scalability, continuous integration, and deployment;
• Streamline build and deployment durations;
• Enhance collaboration and increase test automation;
• Contribute to continual improvement of the product and related processes.

• Experience with testing, TDD, agile testing, and test methodologies;
• Experience with automated UI tests using Selenium or Cypress;
• Experience with automated API-based feature testing;
• Experience with data-driven and automated data testing;
• C# and .NET development experience;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure;
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD);
• Ability to write and organize test cases;
• Experience with manual application testing;
• Collaborates effectively with team members;
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to question assumptions;
• Communicates clearly and speaks up when needed;
• Consistent approach and creative mindset;
• Nice to have: XUnit / NUnit / RestSharp, Moq, Data Build Tool (dbt), AutoMapper, FluentAssertions, SpecFlow (BDD), JMeter, Postman, Azure Load Testing, Azure DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes.
