qa engineer (auto) for AI-based applications

The team develops enterprise-grade financial technology solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and service integrations
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and/or Selenium
• Develop end-to-end and integration test suites for critical business workflows
• Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including regression execution and quality gates
• Improve automated test coverage and reduce manual testing
• Investigate test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to resolve defects
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and performance checks where appropriate
• Maintain test cases, test runs, coverage, and traceability in TestRail
• Manage defects and collaborate with the team through Jira
• Contribute to test architecture, automation strategy, and continuous improvement of QA practices
• Apply AI-assisted engineering approaches to improve test creation, maintenance, analysis, and defect triage

• 4+ Years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
• Experience with API testing and REST services
• Strong understanding of end-to-end and integration testing
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab
• Good programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools
• Experience with Jira and defect management
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience building or maintaining scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in software development or testing
• Practical experience with AI coding assistants or agents
• Experience with agentic workflows, MCP, or AI-assisted engineering
• Understanding of LLM-based solutions and their evaluation
• Excellent command of English (B2+) and ability to work effectively in a distributed engineering team
