The QA Lead owns the quality strategy and test execution for Nearmap's Salesforce, Conga CPQ, NetSuite, and Workato ecosystem. Based out of our Warsaw hub, you'll coordinate closely with the local Poland engineering team, US-based Solution Architects and Business Analysts, and the global Salesforce administrator team to ensure every release is tested thoroughly before it reaches production. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role: you'll write and execute test plans yourself, set the QA standard for the Revenue Systems stack, and be the person engineering and business stakeholders trust to say whether a release is genuinely ready.
Test Strategy & Planning
- Own the QA strategy for the Revenue Systems stack, defining test approach, coverage, and risk areas for each release across Salesforce, Conga CPQ, NetSuite, and Workato.
- Design test plans and test cases for new features, integrations, and configuration changes, balancing thoroughness with delivery timelines.
- Identify high-risk areas of the system (integrations, automation, data flows) that require deeper regression coverage.
- Continuously evolve and automate QA processes and tooling as the Revenue Systems portfolio grows in scope and complexity.
Test Execution & UAT Coordination
- Lead and coordinate UAT cycles alongside Business Analysts, ensuring test plans are executed, defects are logged clearly, and stakeholder sign-off is obtained across Sales, Finance, and Product.
- Personally execute test scripts for critical or complex scenarios, particularly around integrations and CPQ pricing/quoting logic.
- Track defects through to resolution, working closely with engineering to reproduce, prioritize, and verify fixes.
- Own release readiness sign-off — clearly communicating what has and has not been tested, and any residual risk, before a release ships.
QA Standards & Process Ownership
- Define and maintain QA standards for test documentation, defect quality, and coverage across the Revenue Systems portfolio.
- Serve as the go-to point of expertise on QA best practices for the broader team, without formal management responsibility.
- Recommend and help implement QA tooling and process improvements as the Revenue Systems portfolio grows.
- Model rigorous testing practices that raise the overall quality bar across the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Poland engineering team on a daily basis to align on scope, sequencing, and testability of upcoming work.
- Coordinate with the global Salesforce administrator team and Solution Architects to understand configuration changes and their downstream testing implications.
- Communicate release status, risk, and quality metrics clearly to the Senior Director of Revenue Systems and other stakeholders.
- Maintain an asynchronous engagement cadence with US and other regional stakeholders, providing structured updates that keep them informed on their schedule.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain test plan libraries, defect logs, and release test evidence for audit and continuity purposes.
- Identify recurring sources of defects or rework, and drive process improvements to reduce them.
- Own QA tooling hygiene (Jira, Confluence, test management tools, or equivalent) so status is always current and actionable.
- Contribute to a delivery culture that balances speed with quality — instilling accountability and clear ownership across the QA function.
