marketing manager in machinery manufacturing

RATIONAL AG develops and manufactures machinery for professional kitchens and provides marketing support for partner markets across Europe.

• Develop and implement target group-specific marketing concepts and communication tools for Partner Markets Europe;
• Analyze country-specific markets and target groups to identify trends and implement centrally developed marketing tools;
• Develop local digital communication measures within the global Digital Strategy;
• Further develop marketing automation within the region;
• Further develop Customer Lifecycle Journey Management;
• Coordinate local media planning with market managers;
• Design and deliver training for local staff and managers;
• Support and coordinate regional partner marketing resources;
• Select, plan, and organize suitable trade fairs with partners and market managers;
• Prepare and support reports and statistics;
• Plan and control the annual marketing budget with the Partner Markets Europe Director;
• Oversee marketing projects through goal-oriented project management;
• Coordinate and ensure best practice sharing across marketing topics in Partner Markets;
• Support implementation of the Partner Regions strategy;
• Maintain close cooperation with Central Marketing.

• Degree in business administration or marketing;
• At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing products requiring explanation or similar areas;
• Ability to innovate and think and act proactively;
• Strong customer orientation;
• Very good knowledge of digital marketing;
• High affinity with social media management;
• Experience in sales, international environments, and project management;
• Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking with a strong hands-on mentality and good conceptual skills;
• Confident and convincing at all levels;
• Strong presentation skills;
• Very good written and spoken English;
• Willingness to travel within Europe approximately 30–50%;
• Nice to have: German.
