Marketing manager for reusable packaging

RECUP offers hospitality and retail businesses reusable cups, bowls and pizza boxes with a deposit: an alternative to single-use packaging. With around 20,000 partners we are the market leader in Germany, and we successfully launched in Austria. Now we are bringing the RECUP reuse system to the Netherlands and in the future also Belgium. As our first marketer in the Netherlands and Belgium, you make sure businesses and consumers know and use RECUP. You start in the Netherlands; Belgium follows.

• Create and execute the marketing plan for the Netherlands and later Belgium, with leads as the first goal: campaigns and funnels, together with the sales team.
• Run paid and organic social (Meta), community and influencers.
• Manage the website, landing pages (WordPress) and search ads, together with the German team.
• Build awareness through out-of-home campaigns, PR and collaborations.
• Choose, organise and make the most of events and trade fairs to build a community.
• Help partners make RECUP visible at their location: from posters and displays to on-location activations.

• At least 3 years of marketing experience, ideally including a launch in a new market.
• Creative and a self-starter: you come up with ideas, plan them and make them happen.
• You work with partners, agencies and freelancers.
• At home in every channel, from paid social and search ads to events, and you steer on results.
• You understand the Dutch and Belgian market.
• You speak Dutch at a near-native level and are fluent in English.
• You spend at least four days a week at the office (Amsterdam) or out in the market.
