Marketing Apprentice

As part of the company's continued growth in the United States education market, PPSS Group is looking for a motivated and ambitious Marketing Apprentice to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical marketing, business development and demand generation skills while working towards a recognised qualification through QA.

As a Marketing Apprentice, you will support the growth of BitePRO® within the US education sector. You'll gain hands-on experience researching markets, identifying potential customers, supporting marketing campaigns and working closely with sales colleagues to generate new business opportunities. This role offers exposure to both marketing and commercial activities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys research, communication and delivering measurable business results.

• Support the planning and delivery of targeted marketing campaigns aimed at US education organisations
• Assist with email marketing campaigns, webinars and digital marketing activities
• Create engaging marketing content including case studies, presentations and promotional materials
• Help maintain campaign schedules and marketing activity calendars
• Research school districts, education providers and specialist education organisations across the United States
• Support lead generation activities and help qualify new opportunities
• Work closely with the sales team to help progress opportunities through the pipeline
• Assist with customer communications and follow-up activities
• Support the preparation of demonstrations, presentations and customer engagement activities
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback
• Help coordinate participation in industry events and exhibitions
• Support website updates and social media activity
• Assist with content creation and wider company marketing initiatives
• Contribute to post-event communications and lead follow-up campaigns

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Must be able to travel independently and reliably to our Wetherby office, access to a car is essential
• Interest in marketing, sales or business development
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing
• Experience of using CRM systems or marketing tools (not essential as training will be provided)
• Interest in international business and market development

Working hours: 9am–5pm, with a one-hour lunch break

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
• The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
