Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
The Voyager team within Anduril's Connected Warfare division is an engineering and design group with deep experience developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge. The team specialises in purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed to meet the most stringent environmental and operational requirements.
As Voyager's project portfolio grows in scale and technical complexity, we are restructuring how programmes are managed. We're moving away from a split PM model and toward a single Technical Program Manager who has genuine R&D experience — someone who can speak the engineers' language, make technical decisions with authority, and drive projects forward without needing to be hand-held.
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with a strong background in hardware and/or mechanical design to lead R&D programmes within the Voyager team. This is not a traditional programme management role — we need someone who has lived in R&D, understands what engineers are talking about at a component and system level, and can credibly challenge or guide technical direction.
You will take immediate ownership of live projects from day one, acting as the technical point of contact for direction, decision-making, and stakeholder reporting. You'll manage the full product lifecycle — from initial hardware and software prototyping through New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production — ensuring that products are technically viable, robust, and aligned with customer needs.
This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role. You'll need to hit the ground running, earn the trust of multidisciplinary engineering teams quickly, and demonstrate strong independent judgment on when to decide and when to escalate.
