product manager for KYC and document verification

• Own the end-to-end product roadmap for turning manual document processing into high-accuracy automated pipelines for text extraction, data masking, and fraud or forgery detection;
• Identify practical, high-value applications for computer vision, OCR, and LLMs or AI agents to structure unstructured document data across formats and regions;
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for CSMs and the Sales team, analyzing requirements, evaluating technical feasibility, and translating requirements into specifications for ML and backend engineers;
• Support audits and certification in line with regulations and client standards;
• Own prioritization, sprint execution, and delivery to production;
• Define, track, and optimize performance metrics, including automation rate, precision, recall, and processing latency, using SQL and internal data tools;
• Personally test and validate product behavior, data extraction accuracy, and edge-case workflows.

• Have 3+ years of experience in PM/TPM roles;
• Have a strong background, preferably as a former Software Developer, QA Engineer, or L3 Technical Specialist who transitioned into Product Management;
• Understand API architectures, microservices, automation frameworks, and backend data processing pipelines;
• Understand how computer vision, OCR, and LLM/prompt engineering work in practice, including technical feasibility and accuracy evaluation; training ML models is not required;
• Have experience replacing manual human tasks with automated software solutions in FinTech, RegTech, Logistics, or another data-heavy domain;
• Be comfortable writing SQL queries to analyze system accuracy, uncover edge cases, and measure performance metrics;
• Be comfortable working with high autonomy in a lean, fast-paced environment with rapid feedback loops;
• Be able to explain complex technical trade-offs clearly to internal CSMs and commercial teams;
• Be fluent in English;
• Nice to have: direct experience with document processing, KYC/AML workflows, or fraud detection systems; practical experience applying LLMs/agents to unstructured data extraction challenges; a Software Development background.
