institutional due diligence specialist

• Own end-to-end due diligence for institutional customers, including KYB legal entities, partners, and respondent institutions, from onboarding through periodic reviews
• Review onboarding applications and make risk-based decisions to approve or reject customers
• Conduct periodic and event-driven reassessments, including ongoing KYB data updates
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on higher-risk relationships
• Monitor customer behavior and transaction activity for unusual or suspicious patterns, and gather additional information or documentation when needed
• Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening
• Escalate compliance issues, risks, and findings to the Compliance Manager in a timely, structured way
• Help build, improve, and implement internal compliance procedures and best practices as the company scales

• 5+ Years of experience in AML/CTF compliance, risk management, or due diligence
• Deep knowledge of KYB, CDD, and EDD processes for legal entities and institutional clients
• Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and PEP/adverse media checks
• Familiarity with SumSub, ComplyAdvantage, or similar AML screening tools
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with sound, well-documented judgment
• High attention to detail and understanding of EU and Estonian AML/CTF regulatory frameworks
• Clear communication skills and a strong commitment to ethical standards
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without compromising accuracy
• Full working proficiency in English and Estonian
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Gross monthly base salary range: €3,400 – €3,990
