GBS Closing and Reporting Accountant

• Lead monthly GL accounting and closing activities for CHC GBS entities within EMEA
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in sub-ledgers, Balance Sheet, and P&L accounts
• Prepare corporate and statutory reports on time, delivering insights that matter
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements, including SAP S/4HANA optimization
• Support audits and internal controls, ensuring SOX and corporate standards are met
• Coach and mentor junior accountants, fostering a culture of learning and excellence
• Collaborate across functions to streamline operations and enhance user experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting operations
• Strong knowledge of closing and reporting processes, fixed assets, and lease accounting
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to thrive in a multicultural setting
• Proven ability to manage priorities, work independently, and deliver results under pressure
