Senior Financial Analyst

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

We are looking for Senior Financial Analyst to join our team!

o Provide complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business. Specifically around project accounting in complex deals.

o Provide technical and/or functional advice and guidance to business and team members.

o Responsible for production of monthly financial reporting (P&L), highlighting key trends and variances.

o Prepare monthly country(ies) forecast and provide budget variance analysis to management

o Coordinate sub-region monthly forecast and present to Finance Management

o Monitor variances between forecast and actual for A&PS projects with support from Customer Operations and Project Managers

o Participate in the development of bottom-up operating budgets

o Conduct financial reviews of business cases like deal analysis, T&Cs, identify non-standard positions and mitigate financial risk.

o Ensure compliance of all financial transactions and activities with the company’s control procedure (RRC, NSP, ELCAF, etc.)

o Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the business, and financial planning and accounting principles and concepts governed by U.S GAAP & AFM

o Monitor balance sheet and reports on unbilled & accruals to minimize surprises in the Business P&L

o Represent finance on cross- functional teams

o Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.

o Support policy and process improvement, identifies and drives opportunities.

o Identify issues, propose and drive solutions.

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills.
