Finance manager in insurance

KLPP Insurance & Reinsurance Company Ltd is based in Limassol, Cyprus, and began its insurance operations in 2015. Our business focuses on selected commercial risks, with a European focus in insurance and an international scope in reinsurance. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support financial planning, management reporting and financial control. You will turn financial information into clear insights for senior management and work with banks, auditors, advisers and regulators. The role requires regular financial reporting, professional correspondence and direct communication with management in Russian and English.

• Monitor budget execution, analyse variances and prepare reports for management.
• Prepare financial and management reports, analytical materials and clear explanations to support business decisions.
• Contribute to the development of the company's financial strategy.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, external consultants and regulators.
• Support external and internal audit processes.
• Help ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
• Present financial information to senior management and handle professional correspondence in Russian and English.
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of financial information and business records.

• A degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• At least five years of experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in insurance, financial services or another regulated industry.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting and management accounting.
• Experience preparing financial and management reports.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, pivot tables and data analysis.
• An understanding of financial control and internal audit principles.
• Excellent written and spoken Russian, including financial terminology, business correspondence and clear management reporting.
• Fluent English for financial documentation, correspondence and professional communication.
• Experience communicating financial matters directly to Russian-speaking senior management.
• Sound judgement, discretion and a proven ability to handle confidential financial and business information.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and a responsible approach to your work.
• Current residence in Cyprus, the legal right to work in Cyprus without employer visa sponsorship, and availability to work on site in Limassol.

• Full-time, office-based employment in Limassol.
• Working hours: 09:00-18:00.
