Finance manager in iGaming

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial reconciliation processes, oversee a team of six Finance Officers, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records. This role combines accounting leadership, reconciliation oversight, financial controls, and system supervision, with a strong focus on high-volume transaction reviews and ledger accuracy. Previous iGaming industry experience is mandatory for this position.

• Lead and monitor weekly deliverables across four specialized reconciliation streams.
• Supervise and support a team of six Finance Officers, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Review transaction records and identify discrepancies, including missing or unverified Completion_Transaction_IDs, such as bank references, digital wallet receipts, or cryptocurrency transaction hashes.
• Consolidate reconciliation spreadsheets into the Master General Ledger, ensuring strict compliance with the Chart of Accounts (COA).
• Enforce double-entry bookkeeping principles and verify that total debits equal total credits.
• Conduct final trial balance reviews and approve ledger postings.
• Verify accurate transaction-type mapping between Hub and Spoke systems.
• Lead the completion and final review of historical reconciliation records for the January 1 – September 1 period.
• Formally lock completed historical-period spreadsheets and transition the team to daily reconciliation and posting workflows.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
• Mandatory prior experience in the iGaming industry, with a strong understanding of its financial operations and transaction flows.
• Extensive experience in full-cycle accounting, general ledger management, reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proven experience in multi-entity, multi-currency, fintech, digital payments, or cryptocurrency reconciliation.
• Previous experience implementing or integrating ERP systems, preferably involving finance and accounting modules, general ledger, reconciliation, and financial reporting workflows.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, trial balances, and accounting principles.
• Previous experience managing or supervising a finance or accounting team.
• Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage high-volume financial data and deliver accurate results under strict deadlines.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
