Finance manager in fintech

As a Finance Manager in London, you will oversee the day-to-day financial activities within the Accounting & Finance department for an Ethical consumer lending FinTech, financial services organisation. You will own Statutory Reprting, FPnA and Lending Operations. Ethical consumer lending FinTech creating more accessible personal lending and credit faciliies. They have multiple sub-brands that sit across personal lending, retail business, and white label too.

• Manage day-to-day finance activities to keep records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare regular financial reports that give the business a clear view of performance -- annual Statutory Reporting with FRS 102.
• Oversee financial planning activity and help maintain reliable budgets -- assist full FP&L.
• Review financial data, identify key movements and explain findings clearly. Opportunity to innovate AI to automate some of these tasks.
• Maintain effective financial controls to support accurate reporting.
• Work with colleagues across the business to provide clear financial information -- Lending Operations oversight like reconciling loans to accounts, customer flows, prepayments.
• Improve finance processes where practical to make reporting more efficient.
• Ensure finance deadlines are planned and met throughout the reporting cycle.

• Any accounting qualification.
• Experience managing core finance activities and financial reporting, controls.
• Have exposure already to a lender / retail bank / commercial or busines bank / FinTech.
• Confidence working with stakeholders to provide financial information.

• Salary of £80,000 to £95,000, dependent on the level of experience.
