Finance manager im Projektcontrolling

Green City Development GmbH develops and operates innovative real estate and district projects in Berlin. We combine project development, construction management, location management, and the creation of new ecosystems. Our current main project is NLND Berlin, the transformation of a former industrial site of around 150,000 m² in Berlin-Neukölln, comprising around 30 buildings. We are looking for a new member of our Finance team, focusing on preparatory accounting, project billing, and controlling.

• You independently handle preparatory accounting, from checking receipts and preliminary account allocation through accounts payable and accounts receivable to payment runs and handover to our financial accounting team.
• You handle project billing to our clients, including the associated supporting documents.
• You coordinate outstanding items and ensure the timely billing of our projects.
• You prepare financial reports and analyses, including monthly reporting, cost center evaluations, budget-to-actual comparisons, and liquidity overviews.
• You monitor project progress and check project documentation for completeness and billability.
• You are the point of contact for financial accounting and tax advisory, project management, management, and external service providers on all financial matters.

• You have completed commercial training related to finance/accounting or have a relevant degree in business administration.
• You have at least three years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• You are confident using accounting and invoicing software.
• You are proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• You work in a structured, independent, and reliable manner and keep track of things even when handling several parallel billing processes.
• You communicate confidently with project managers, tax advisors, and external service providers, and enjoy working across interfaces.
• You speak German at a business-fluent level (C1) and have a good command of spoken and written English.

• A permanent part-time position with 24 to 32 hours per week and long-term prospects.
• Performance-based pay depending on experience, between €38,000 and €45,000 gross per year, based on 32 hours per week. For fewer hours, pay is pro rata.
